SNAP/WIC Assistance

  • Hampden Township Police Department (map)

Over 2 million Pennsylvanian’s may see a lapse in their SNAP/WIC benefits come November 1st. Holden’s Light is helping to fill the void.

Holden’s Light is providing support to those who are affected by the lack of funding for SNAP/WIC programs, which will begin November 1st unless the federal government steps in quickly. We are providing boxes of supplies (formula, diapers/wipes, fruit, and non-perishables) to families in our community.

Families MUST pre-register using this link: https://forms.gle/M2KdHQrb55tNBQEh9

Pick up of boxes will be every Wednesday (5-7 PM) and Saturday (10 AM - 12 PM), at Hampden Township Police Department, starting November 1st until federal funding is in place or our own funds are depleted.

How to Help:

1. SHARE this information! We need families to know support is available!

2. DONATE monetarily through our website: https://www.holdenslight.org/donate

3. VOLUNTEER your time! Help us pack & distribute boxes (message us directly).

4. PURCHASE specific items off of this list: https://www.amazon.com/reg.../gl/guest-view/1B13FC58Y6R8Y...

In the event that federal funds become available prior to November 1st or before the next scheduled pick up, Holden’s Light will donate all supplies and items to local organizations.
