Play, Learn, & Grow Festival
Holden’s Light and The Nest are hosting a fun, family-focused community event designed to create connection, provide valuable resources, and support local families. Our goal is to create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment while highlighting the organizations and businesses that make our community stronger.
Ticketing for this event is donation-based! Donate as much as you feel comfortable to attend. We will be accepting donations via cash or Venmo at the event entrance.
Features include:
Kids’ activities (bounce houses, games, age-based zones)
Community resource tables
Focused family services, such as free speech screenings and postpartum support
Opportunities for local businesses to engage directly with families

Over 2 million Pennsylvanian’s may see a lapse in their SNAP/WIC benefits come November 1st. Holden’s Light is helping to fill the void.
Holden’s Light is providing support to those who are affected by the lack of funding for SNAP/WIC programs, which will begin November 1st unless the federal government steps in quickly. We are providing boxes of supplies (formula, diapers/wipes, fruit, and non-perishables) to families in our community.

Pick up of boxes will be every Wednesday (5-7 PM) and Saturday (10 AM - 12 PM), at Hampden Township Police Department, starting November 1st until federal funding is in place or our own funds are depleted.

We are so excited for the 2nd Annual Holden’s Light 5K Run/Walk, hosted at City Island (Harrisburg, PA). Join us in-person or virtually! More details to come.
